Chevy Chase Trust Sponsors 2016 Celebration of Giving
On November 3, 2016, Chevy Chase Trust was the lead sponsor of The Community Foundation in Montgomery County’s 20th Anniversary Celebration of Giving. Attended by more than 300 people, the program at Roundhouse Theatre in Bethesda honored Cliff and Camille Kendall for their inspirational leadership in creating the first family fund at the Foundation and for Cliff’s service as Founding board chair. Sally Rudney was also honored for her role as Founding Executive Director, and for helping hundreds of people and businesses set up philanthropic funds and find their giving passions.
Peter Welber, President and CEO of Chevy Chase Trust, and Nancy Fax, managing partner of Pasternak & Fidis, both Chair Emeriti of The Community Foundation in Montgomery County, presented Sally Rudney with the Celebration of Giving award. Following the awards ceremony, Chevy Chase Trust hosted the reception in the atrium of the Chevy Chase Trust building.
