On April 28, 2012, Chevy Chase Trust proudly sponsored Catholic Charities at its 2012 Annual Foundation Gala at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel. Chevy Chase Trust sends a special congratulations to Cardinal McCarrick, Archbishop Emeritus of Washington, as the recipient of the 2012 Voice of Hope Award and for his generous philanthropic involvement within the Archdiocese.

Catholic Charities is the social ministry outreach of the Archdiocese of Washington. This year’s gala, themed “Share the Spirit of Hope- Light the Way” successfully raised over $2,000,000 for Catholic Charities’ numerous programs to support those in need.
