On April 30, 2016, Chevy Chase Trust proudly supported the Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington’s 2016 Gala. The event was a huge success, raising $2 million for Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington’s 83 programs working locally in the region. The evening was chaired by James V. Reyes and featured the high-energy music of the Spazmatics keeping the dance floor at the Washington Marriott Wardman Park Hotel hoping all evening long. Support of the gala allows Catholic Charities to fulfill their mission to inspire hope and build futures for 120,000 people in need in Washington, D.C., and Maryland by sheltering, feeding, healing, protecting and teaching.
