On April 16, 2012, Chevy Chase Trust proudly sponsored Signature Theatre at its Annual Sondheim Award Gala. This year’s honoree was the stage actress, Ms. Patti LuPone, recognized for her outstanding artistic contributions. Chevy Chase Trust is committed to advancing philanthropy and improving the local community.

Signature Theatre is a Tony Award®-winning, non-profit professional theater company with a mission to produce contemporary musicals and plays, reinvent classic musicals, develop new work, and reach its community through engaging educational and outreach opportunities. The theater successfully raised about $450,000 from this year’s Gala. Our heartfelt congratulations also go out to Signature and our own Deborah Gandy for her leadership as Chair of the Board.
