Al Bhatt is Managing Director in the Northern Virginia office of Chevy Chase Trust and is responsible for advising clients in the areas of investment management, financial and estate planning and trust administration. With more than thirty years of investment and risk management experience, he oversees the delivery of services to clients and coordinates with their legal, accounting and other advisors.

Prior to joining Chevy Chase Trust, Al built a team of wealth management professionals solely focused on stewarding the wealth and personal affairs of a prominent Fortune 400 family. Prior to that, he held senior investment positions at private banking, trust & estate management, private equity and alternative investment firms, including JP Morgan Private Bank, Wells Fargo, Coral Gables Trust Company, and SEI Investments, Inc.

Al earned a Bachelor’s with honors in Economics from Union College, where he received the Horatio G. Warner award for outstanding scholastic standing and personal character. He is also a graduate of Stanford University with a Masters in Economics.
