As Co-Head of the Planning Group, Elizabeth shares responsibility for the strategic direction and delivery of the financial and estate planning services of the firm. She and her team work directly with clients to review their estate plans and advise them about estate planning strategies. Elizabeth also assists the firm in its role as trustee of testamentary and inter vivos trusts, and as executor of probate estates.
Prior to joining Chevy Chase Trust, Elizabeth practiced law as an estates and trusts attorney for seven years at Furey Doolan & Abell.
A native Washingtonian, Elizabeth graduated from the University of Notre Dame, magna cum laude, with a degree in French Language and Literature, and received her Juris Doctor from Duke University School of Law. Elizabeth serves on the Board of Trustees of the Louise Home. She is a member of the Barristers and the Washington D.C. Estate Planning Council.
