Liz is responsible for developing and implementing the privacy program for Chevy Chase Trust and its subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with the applicable laws and regulations, and protecting the privacy of customer and employee data. With a strong background in privacy law and data protection, Liz is skilled in identifying and mitigating privacy risks, developing policies and procedures that align with privacy best practices, and building privacy into the fabric of the organization.
Prior to joining Chevy Chase Trust, Liz served as a privacy leader at two Fortune 500 companies and a Big Four professional services firm, where she collaborated with customers and stakeholders to develop and implement privacy policies and practices, fostering a culture of privacy excellence across the security continuum. Liz graduated from Mount Saint Mary’s University where she earned her Bachelor of Art degree and from Widener University School of Law where she obtained her Juris Doctor. She holds Certified Information Privacy Professional certifications (CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPM) from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
