As the Head of Business Development, Marc leads the firm’s strategy for expanding relationships with prospective clients and strengthening engagement with existing clients.
He oversees Chevy Chase Trust’s new business development process and is responsible for presenting the firm’s capabilities to individuals, families, trusts, and non-profit clients. Marc also leads the firm’s Wealth Advisory team, advising clients in the areas of investment management, financial and estate planning, and trust administration.
With more than 30 years of experience in wealth and investment management, business development, and accounting, Marc brings a seasoned perspective to advising existing and prospective clients, while advancing the firm’s growth through key relationships with outside advisors and development initiatives within the Washington, DC metropolitan area and beyond.
Prior to joining Chevy Chase Trust, he was Director and Private Banker with Citi Private Bank. Previously, he served as Managing Director and Relationship Manager with U.S. Trust Company where he oversaw marketing and sales activity between U.S. Trust and its parent company at the time, Charles Schwab & Co., throughout Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. Marc also held positions with the Warburg Pincus Private Client Group and PNC Financial Services.
Marc earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Delaware. His community and leadership involvement includes prior board service with the Community Foundation for Northern Virginia, the Workhouse Arts Foundation, and Congregation Beth Emeth. Marc is also a graduate of Leadership Fairfax.
